RELIGIOUS PROCESSION

Young boys dressed up as princes, re-enacting Buddha's renunciation of worldly luxuries, on the way to becoming novice monks.  All Burmese Buddhist boys become at least twice in their lifetime to become novice monks: at the age of seven as KOYIN  (a novice) and after the age of 20 as BAZIN (fully ordained monk).
